Hello,

Has anyone any news regarding Pickering? their webside tell and does nothing we wanted to know if there was going to be on site camping & caravaning sent 2 emails have not 1 reply not a good PR for a new management

Hi there
I had an e-mail from them a few weeks ago stating that a new web site was scheduled to start 21st June, just checked and it is on line with all details, camping etc..

I have an email with a booking form sent back to me today so I think we will be Ok, this year they are only taking payment by cheque no credit cards which is a little strange

Maybe as a new company with less than 12 months trading they are finding it hard to get credit card facilitys

Sent payment by cheque few months ago got a proper VAT invoice back with plot details on.
Was told when I phoned would get car pass about mid july seem better orginised than last year.
Personaly speaking never had any trouble with booking for pickering been going few years with caravan now.
hopeing for good weather and rally see Dr Busker back this year.

And would worry me given the events of the past.

You have very little comeback once the money is out of your account with a cheque. A credit card is a little 'safer' at least.
