![]() There will be a gathering of road engines large and small along with working narrow boats over the weekend of May 1st & 2nd at the Lion Salt Works Museum along side the Trent & Mersey Canal at Marston near to Northwich in Cheshire.
The muesum was re-opend in 2015 after a major restoration project - www.lionsaltworks.westcheshiremuseums.co.uk This is the first time that an event like this ahs been staged at the museum site and I am looking for some local engines large or small who would like to come along for the weekend, also any working narrow boats as well to celebrate the modes of transport that once served the Lion Salt Works. At present there are 6 miniatures going to be present along with the working narrow boats and the steam narrow boat "President" Clive. |
