Default Royal norfolk show 2025

DON'T MISS THIS YEAR'S HIGHLIGHTS AT ROYAL NORFOLK SHOW 2025

Here are this year’s must-see spectacles.

Prepare to be amazed by the RAF Falcons’ death- SKY-HIGH THRILLS

Prepare to be amazed as the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team takes
to the sky above the Grand Ring on both days. Based at RAF Brize
Norton, these daredevils perform breathtaking freefall formations
from heights of up to 12,000 feet, reaching speeds of 120 miles per
hour. Their precision skills and daring manoeuvres are a must-see.

But that’s not all! The Bolddog Lings will be performing
jawdropping displays in the Grand Ring, as the motorcycle thrill
seekers soar through the air in freestyle formations.

FULL STEAM AHEAD

This year, the Grand Ring will host a parade of 12 magnificent
steam engines, including showmen’s engines, agricultural
traction engines, steam rollers and tractors. This marks the first
steam engine parade at the Royal Norfolk Show since 1982, offering a
nostalgic glimpse into farming of the past.

EMERGENCY SERVICES AND MILITARY VILLAGES

Perfect for kids and adults alike, the Emergency Services Village
offers a fun opportunity to learn about safety and first aid, while
meeting the real-life heroes of our local police forces, fire
services, coastguards, air ambulances and much more.

Here you can take part in interactive activities that are not
only fun but also educational, offering an insight into the
life-saving skills used every day by organisations such as the Royal
National Lifeboat Institution, Lowland Search and Rescue, and
Norfolk Accident Rescue Service.

Paula Gilluley, community engagement officer at
Norfolk Constabulary, said: “Come along to explore a fire engine,
try your hand at CPR, follow the journey of an emergency service
call with the Air Ambulance, learn about how to float to live with
the Coastguard and RNLI, and watch our police dogs in action in our
demonstration ring.”

Meet real-life heroes at the Emergency Services Village FABULOUS FASHION

Throughout both days of the show, style spotters Kate and Paula
from The Style Duo will be on the move – mingling with the crowd,
spotting standout outfits and talking all things fashion.

If you’re rocking a look that catches the eye, don’t be
surprised if you get tapped on the shoulder and are personally
invited to take part in our Best in Style – the Show Edition
competition! Each afternoon at 4pm, The Style Duo will team up with
a representative from a well-known Norfolk brand to crown a winner,
with a fabulous prize provided by our style-savvy partner.

HOLD YOUR HORSES

New to the Grand Ring this year, the Pony Club Mounted Games feature
teams of four or five riders competing in exhilarating races that
test their speed, agility and teamwork. With heats on both
days leading up to an exciting finale, this event promises thrilling
action for spectators. And don’t miss the heavy horse turnouts,
showjumping competitions and Shetland Pony Derby, where you can
watch pint-sized ponies and young jockeys racing for ribbons!

The Royal Norfolk Show celebrates the local farming community LIVELY LIVESTOCK

See some of the region’s finest animals up close and celebrate as
champion livestock proudly compete. This year, the Royal Norfolk
Show has been chosen to host the Royal Agricultural Society of
England’s Burke Trophies for Beef and Dairy Cattle and
Machinery. These coveted national competitions are hosted
together in Norfolk for the first time. The Queen’s Prize will be
awarded to the champion Light Horse.

MUSICAL MADNESS

Be entertained by hundreds of musicians with Norfolk and
Suffolk Music Hub’s programme of live music, including the New
Noise Stage and Beat Stampede – a massive celebration of
dance music and air drumming staged in the Grand Ring. Norfolk and
Suffolk Music Hub will stage musical events aimed at getting young
people involved.

An exciting Battle of the Bands, a mass choir performance, and
a musical picnic performed by autism-friendly interactive band, Free
Flow, will all take place on the New Noise Stage. The Duke of
York’s Royal Military School Marching Band will also return to the
Grand Ring this year, offering a chance to witness its unique
ceremonial traditions and musical parade.

Funfairs and farming – what’s not to love?
AMAZING ATTRACTIONS

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! As you roam about
the showground, you will also discover vintage funfair rides,
antique and modern farming machinery, archery, canoeing, dog agility
shows, art and plenty of opportunities for shopping.

Whether it is your first time visiting or an annual tradition,
please join us for two days of family-friendly farming fun.
