Dewrance 1/4" Valve No.3000

Wanted Dewrance globe valve reference no. 3000 with nickel alloy valve and seat, valve size 1/4" fittings. This is for the blower valve on my Garrett wagon which is fed with superheated steam; this cuts through normal valve seats very quickly. Suggestions for alternative valves with renewable seats welcome.

Crane will have an alternative I would think. Not sure of ref numbers though.

Thank you for your suggestion Donald, yes, that would be a practical solution but I am trying to replicate what Garretts did. If I move the valve to the wet steam side of the superheater it won't be as easily accessible. The alternative would be to make an additional tapping in the boiler.

I had a brief google on this , and there appear to be such valves made , but they look as though they may be expensive , being very thoroughly engineered .
