Volvo F10 tractor unit (Len Crane)

For sale is Len Crane's Volvo F10 tractor unit. This unit has been involved in the steam movement almost all it life moving many engines around the country with a low loader and will have been a familiar sight to many of you on here. It originally had an F10 engine but after a engine failure many years ago a F12 engine and gearbox were put in its place. It is a 6x2 with a lift rear axle which all works as it should. It has good tyres all round and alloy wheels on the first 2 axles. It was last tested and used in 2011 and since then has been stored inside until around 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately as is to be expected with a truck this age the cab has started to go in places and I have included photo's to show this. Starts and runs lovely although the glow plugs do not seem to be working. It is a great looking truck and hopefully it wont have to go to export like the rest of these trucks have over the years.
