Hello, just to remind everyone that the WESES Steam Rally will be taking place on the 19th, 20th & 21st of August at Stithians Showground (TR3 7BB)

With over 50 engines and over 50 miniatures booked in there will be plenty of steam engines to see.

We took Burrell 3986 over to the showground yesterday - The roads around the place are much improved over last year and now make a superb route for free engine movement over the whole weekend in all weather conditions. The route will also be reversed over last year so the engines will travel up the hill past the Arena which should provide plenty of scope for putting on a good show for the public.
Also worth noting is that the Met Office weather forecast is looking reasonable so far - See here.

Let's make this year a good one - Cornwall, steam engines, massive area to play in & loads of good friends to spend the weekend with - No excuses for not having a cracking weekend
