Cromford appeal for more showman’s

THE long-established Cromford Steam Rally, to be held in the Peak District between Alfreton and Matlock on August 6-7, is appealing for more showman’s engines to exhibit, both for this year and also for future years.
“We’ve 33 full size engines booked in for this year” said spokesman Dave Whittle, “but we’re a little light on showman’s engines. We can help with transport costs.”
