Default The Aldham Old Time Rally - 11th & 12th June 2011

The Aldham Old Time Rally
11th & 12th June 2011
Held at Chalkney Meadows, White Colne, Colchester, Essex CO6 2PP, 8 miles west of Colchester on the A1124.
The rally is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm both days. Entry is £5.00 for Adults & accompanied children get in free.

run by The North East Essex Tractor and Engine Club (NEETEC) and Earls Colne Scout Group.

It is now in its 34th year approx a dozen steam vehicles booked in along with vintage tractors, commerical vehicles, military vehicles, classic cars and stationary engines. We also have a well represented craft tent and a variety of stalls and historic exhibits.

Isn't it good to see a show with reasonable entrance fees. With 5 children (my fault I know) I find the cost of most shows prohibitive.

We doesn't time fly - Its this weekend and the field is nearly set and ready. 2 fine looking avelings sit on site already having completed their 18 mile trek on Sunday.

Yes Glen - Auction is on again on the Saturday afternoon - come an grab a bargin - including a possible lister D Jim!!! lol
