Default Banbury Rally - 25 June 2011

Selection of pictures taken today. The bottom picture is Fowler 1908 which is being brought back to life from a small collection of parts and was displayed with accompanying patterns - worth the admission alone. I will put some more pictures of this engine on TT on Monday.

There was a very similar Wallis Diesel Advance sold in the Barry Price sale last week, I am not sure what it made.

Last photo is Paul Ransley's amazing recreation of Fowler SC No.1908 beside the Steam Plough Club tent! It is recently returned from a visit to Denmark where a very similar engine resides in a museum in the condition it was when it ended its working life. Paul's rebuild can be followed in the members engines section of TT.
