![]() Dave, what a great set of pictures to show off a great event. You could not move in the car park for engines, I counted 17 full size and 11 miniatures (not forgetting the bikes, tractors and cars) . Any rally event would have been impressed with that line up. The free beer ran out about 4 pm just as I went and ordered 5 pints (just my luck). The cake was very good and I am looking forward to trying your home made piccalilli. Saturday Night was a good night with lots of beer and humour, Adie streamed his engine and had the lights going till after 11. Sunday was also a good day with lots of people coming to the pub, the public car park (field next to the pub) must of had 100 cars in it. I must say well done to those who organised the event better than any rally I have been to.

![]() I thought Clive Hearsey organised this one.
Really sorry I missed it too, I had to dismantle and move my shed and workshop from my old house as it was the first dry and free weekend we had. I was hoing to see Dwain and Brian Morgan's showmans engines in steam there. I did see the picture of one of them in the Sunday photos next to Clive's road loco and it is looking superb - where was the green one? Brian W |
