Cromford appeal for more showman’s
THE long-established Cromford Steam Rally, to be held in the Peak District between Alfreton and Matlock on August 6-7, is appealing for more showman’s engines to exhibit, both for this year and also for future years.
“We’ve 33 full size engines booked in for this year” said spokesman Dave Whittle, “but we’re a little light on showman’s engines. We can help with transport costs.” Prospective exhibitors should contact steam section leader Ken Bowmer email ken@salswood.co.uk or tel. 01629 582272
