CO CARLOW STEAM RALLY RETURNS AFTER MORE THAN A DECADE'S ABSENCE

The event is perfect for enthusiasts and history buffs alike

Fenagh Steam Rally is being revived after a 12-year hiatus

After more than a decade, the Fenagh steam and heritage rally is making its grand return. This much-loved event, which ran for
over 40 years, will be back on Sunday 7 September, bringing a day of excitement, nostalgia and community spirit to Fenagh once
again. The rally was the highlight of the local calendar, celebrating the rich heritage of steam engines, vintage machinery and
classic machinery, alongside family-friendly entertainment and great community involvement.

Now, with the dedication of a new generation of rally enthusiasts, the organisers are delighted to restore this cherished
tradition. Come along and marvel at the magnificent steam engines on display, with demonstrations showcasing the power of these
historic machines. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone era as these engines come to life. Explore a stunning
collection of vintage vehicles, from classic cars to retro bikes. Each vehicle has its own unique story and charm, offering a
glimpse into transportation history.

The event is perfect for enthusiasts and history buffs alike. You can also discover unique, handcrafted treasures at the craft
fair. Support local artisans and find stunning handmade jewellery, home decor, artwork and more. Whether you’re shopping for a
special gift or just browsing for inspiration, there’s something for everyone. The gates open at 2pm and proceeds from the day
will go to Carlow-Kilkenny Homecare team and local charities. More details are available at www.fenaghsteamandheritagerally.com or
