WOODCOTE steam rally

WOODCOTE steam rally will take place off Church Lane in Ipsden next weekend.

The festival will include a range of vintage and veteran transport.

Exhibits will include large, miniature and stationary steam engines.

Other vehicles include cars, motorbikes, tractors, military models and commercial vehicles.

There will be a hand-craft goods marquee while entertainment includes a children’s petting farm, live bands, a children’s entertainer and a funfair for all ages.

The bar will serve drinks including real ale, lagers, craft beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks. Food stalls will also be available.

On Friday, July 11, the rally doors will open at 6pm for the benefit of residents with free entrance, entertainment, a bar, food and reduced price funfair.

The rally has raised a total of £550,000 for local charities and organisations since 1964.
