3" Marshall 7NHP + accessories

It's with regret that I'm putting this engine up for sale, for due to other commitments I simply don't get the time to rally it any more.

It's a 3" Brunel Models miniature of 7NHP agricultural "Pride of the Road", built to a fantastic standard by johnnycapone of this parish (build thread is on here.... somewhere!) - at least one miniature owner has said to me "I wish my engine ran as well as yours!".

The engine has a steel boiler built in the early 90s, but was not finished and in steam until about 2009. It has been out of steam for 2 years, stored in a heated box in my garage, and before that I always ran on treated water - so there is plenty of life left in the boiler.
Additionally, I rebuilt and re-adjusted the water pump this week as well as giving the engine a thorough clean and general look-over.

Although I am happy to sell the engine and fitted driver's stool (a Julia design) on its own for the right price, I would prefer to sell it as a complete package with all the kit I have amassed, which includes:

- Road transport trailer
- Custom-made passenger trolley with built-in coal bunker and water tanks
- Hydraulic test fittings
- Powered blower chimney extension
- "Show kit" toolbox containing the tools and fluids needed for firing up, tweaks and running repairs at a rally
- Full set of plans and drawings for every part

Due to being out of steam for so long, the engine will require new steam and hydraulic tests, but it should fly through these just like the last ones it had. If needed, I can arrange to have these done for a small extra cost.


I would ideally be looking for £8000 for the entire package, I'm open to negotiation for just the engine.
