Our Eddison living van for sale. Ready to use. Build number LXV (Grantham built.) Restored keeping as much original material as possible and no modern alterations made to the fabric of the van. On original iron wheels with new shrunk on steel tyres. New window frames to original design. Replanked with imperial sized boards cut and machined from recycled timber from an old cottage that was demolished - so definitely won't warp! Correct new corrugated iron roof. Correct Venetian Red with Eddison Steam Rolling Company enamel plate and oval cast fleet number plate fitted.
Inside it has original bunks and cupboard with all original mouldings still in situ, rebuilt side bench seat with locker under, new table to original Eddison design and proper cast iron Epping range - not a fabricated steel replica..
Modern items not fixed to the van are a portable gas stove with oven and two rings, interior sprung mattresses (we had them specially made to fit the bunks), twin shower/toilet tent with Thetford Porta Potti & a battery electric shower which gives a good shower from a gallon bucket of hot water.
Has been our very comfy home from home at countless steam shows over the years. No longer needed as we have sold our Aveling roller after 46 years due to our declining health.
