‘Marshalls’ at the Museum
To celebrate the completion of the 5 year restoration of Britannia Portable 43090 of 1905 (and her 110th birthday) the ‘B.A.S. in Restorations’ Team (Robin Battersby, Graham Arnold and Phil Steer) are organising a display of their Marshall collection in the yard at Bury Transport Museum, Manchester over the weekend of 25th and 26th July.
All 4 of their engines will be out on display

Traction Engine 7Nhp 3 Speed Single 46276 of 1906 ‘Pearl’, In Steam
Also celebrating its 70th birthday will be Graham Arnolds Marshall Model ‘M’ Tractor No.1449
Both ‘Conchita’ and the ’M’ will be making appearances later in the summer at the Driffield, Lincoln and Malpas Rallies
Access to the Yard/Display is FREE but a Donation to the Museum is requested
The Museum will be open (usual admission charges apply), FREE if you have a Full Line Return ticket on the East Lancashire Railway
Tea, Coffee and Soft drinks will be available in the Museum Cafe, if you want something stronger there is a Real Ale Bar on the ELR Station at Bury
