Yes they had three Scenic Railways - Enoch Farrars, White Bros and Pat Collins - Reuben Holdsworth's Steam Pigs, and Lesike's Big Wheel. There were no less than FOUR Foden Scenics in the showmen's line-up. The opening ceremony was carried out jointly by Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan and Joan Cussack, who were then taken on a tour of the arena on the Fowler Pedrail before taking lunch with the Worlds Fair Correspondents for the Southern Counties in a private marquee. Highlights of the working area were Taylors Steam Pig and the sole surviving Burrell Boydell. Mr Nigel Pargetter fell into the slurry pit, Mr Bert Fry read a poem entitled Will Bob Ever Finish?, and the Bull was drunk dry. The 'Village Pump' was sung in memory of Tom Forrest.
