Rack saw bench
Hi I am selling a rack saw bench which is made by j Evans, it came from Gloucestershire from a old mill that had been closed for years and it just sat there with saw dust still on it. The main frame with the blade fixed to it is solid oak and is very heavy and strong though the bottom of the bench does have some wood worm. The blade turns along with the device that take the belt from drive to idle. The extension beds are pitch pine and have been sawn off from the bed which I didn’t do, they would need reconnecting to the main saw with a coach bolt the right side bed is in good condition but the other has been wood worm eaten only on the bottom.
The saw only has one sliding bed as I never had the other when I brought it
Was going to restore myself but need to get rid of some stuff
