Default EATES Road Run 15th June 2019 - part 2

Here's another batch of my photos from this excellent day out. (Well someone did ask!) No logic in the pictures or the order. For details of the engines see part 1. I'm afraid that I didn't note the names of Aveling 12136 or the Wallis, if they have them.

Agathis at The King's Head.

Ancient and modern, The Old Girl in the yard at the East Anglian Railway Museum.

Barney in deepest Essex.

Empress getting ready for the run.

And near the end of the run.

Some people had to stop at The Eight Bells before The King's Head.

12136 on the short, steep climb in the museum yard, needed both drive pins. Note the skid marks from the other roller on the sharp bend at the top.

12136 on the open road.

I wasn't the only one watching engines going by.

Mighty Atom outside The King's Head.

Miniatures at The King's Head. (Do the drivers only drink halves?)

The miniature Foden leaving the railway museum.

Mixed traffic at the museum. I didn't see the miniature Dodman in the background again, so I'm afraid it must have had some trouble.

The miniature Fowler SRL, which I left out of part 1.

The Old Girl before the start, with still rusty rolls.

And leaving the drive to the museum.

And coming back over the railway bridge at the end of the run.

Peter Pan ready to start.

And taking refreshment at The King's Head.

Sir Douglas out in the country.

Two Fowlers - little and large.

The Wallis and the miniature SRL leaving the museum.

The Wallis, parked on the pavement.

And out in the country.

Glen, thanks very much for organising things. When's the next one?
Bill.
