Default Aveling & Porter Horseshoe

Dear Darren

We have an Aveling & Porter Horseshoe Casting, which was copied from our 10 ton Aveling Roller, 30 years plus ago.

The reason it is cast in brass is that there was less shrinkage than on cast iron.

The wording on it is Aveling & Porter Ltd Granthan, we reason this was because our roller had new back rolls from Grantham, we had this one cast because we did not have a scarifier fitted.

But we managed to locate and fit a scarifier, in later years.

This is a nice clean casting as we were going to use it ourselves.

The price is £75.00 plus p&p.

Regards

Peter
