To celebrate the 175th year of the Bodmin and Wadebridge there is an event in Wadebridge on the weekend of the 19th and 20th September. There will be five or six road engines, some travelling form the original temini of the railway, on show and the famous Beattie well tank locomotive 30587 that worked at Wadebridge for more than 60 years will be there as a centrepiece for the show.
Exhibitions of photographs and memorabilia will add greatly to the event which runs through to late afternoon on the Sunday.
