The only down-side was the exceptionally smokey coal, one shovel full on a clean fire = black smoke....
Thats the usual filthy house coal that always supplied at Hollowell. Just driving my 4" Foster from one side of the field to the minature line up was enough, streaming stinging eyes
. Chuck it out and start again with some of Andy's coal from Banbury, what a difference, less smoke, less soot in the tubes & less ash in the ash pan
