Wanted to run my ' new ' lathe through my 2 hp magic box 3 ph converter .

2 hp 3 ph 4 pole foot mounted motor . That will be 440v , 1500w / 1.5 kw , about 1500 rpm .

My magic box can only handle 2hp .

I might consider a larger converter , w.h.y.

Must be cheap , of course .
