6" Burrell GMT Chimney assembly
For some reason the person who built my 6" Little samson fitted a 6" Burrell GMT chimney (also from Edward George) so i am removing this and fitting the correct design over the winter.
The complete assembly is available, chimney base, chimney and spun top. The engine was only completed last year and been steamed a handful of times so these are in very good almost new condition.
The LS boiler has a slightly bigger diameter than the GMT so i think all you need to do is re-machine the base to get the right fit onto the smokebox, saying that i am not sure if there is much difference in the smokebox diameter so it may just bolt straight on.
Normal price from Mr George for this lot is £245. I was thinking around £150 which would go towards the correct parts for my LS.
Happy to send via carrier but will have to check costs, alternatively i can arrange for pick up at Bedfordshire Steam Rally.
