Changing the subject.......I took the miniature, as per avatar, across to the beer tent on friday night.
As we were about to go back to the camp site a (
miserable) woman said, in a loud voice "You've spoilt our evening". I asked how and why and apparently it was the smoke and steam from my engine.
I attempted to engage her in conversation along the lines that she was at a [I]steam[I] show (big clue there in the title) and there was much alternative seating available but she wasn't having any of it.
Some people, eh?
