Default Little Ellingham Vintage Working Show

An excellent 'Do' in deepest Norfolk last weekend. As well as steam, there was a large amount of classic agricultural activity, including 'real' horse power, as well as lots of other things I didn't get round to looking at.

1908 Fowler 'The Countess' powering one of the two threshing drums.

The other drum was being driven by 1912 Burrell 'The Duchess' - only high class engines here.

1911 Allchin 'Felicity' apparently being used to bring on the next generation of drivers.

The other end of 'Felicity's' belt.

Marshall portable on a large stone crusher. A useful looking pump, right foreground.

Sadly no partner for 1917 Fowler AA7 'Cissie' to take the other end of the rope.

Even the Sentinel bus for those who found the extensive site too much.

One of our well known contributors trying his hand at a the 1913 A&P two speed tractor 'Margaret'.

Not many miniatures, but they included this fine 6 ins Garrett 4CD tractor.

A lovely poster, but presumably it indicated the end of another steam contractor.

Finally, I thought of several captions for this picture of Burrell Scenic 'Quenn Mary', but discretion got the better of me.
