Astle Park is local to us so it's always looked forward to. This year was exceptional, not just for the record number of engines, but also for the special buzz from it being the 50th Anniversary where 5 of the engines who had attended the first rally were there. The weather was also exceptional which kept everyone in high spirits. At one stage there were 8 engines on push poles led by Boadicea, however one gentleman was overheard to say "This is nothing new you know, we used to do that in Frank Lythgoe's days". Many thanks to all the organisers and to the many friends who always make us feel welcome.
