In order to make space I am having a sort out and the following items are for sale:
1 Aveling & Porter 10 ton roller pump rod, eccentric strap and plunger (no pump). Light rust, ram will need a skim. £150ono
2 Pair of Fowler ploughing van front wheels with hub caps 42" dai. by 6" tyre width. Offers.
3 Pair of possibly Aveling front steam wagon wheels and axle 32" dia. 8 spoke and hub caps. Offers.
4 Evans steam tar pump 95% complete but requires full restoration approx. 5' long. £750 ono.
5 Aveling and Porter geared pump eccentric, strap and rod in very good condition £350 ono.
6 Steam car project consisting of a genuine 1901 Locomobile engine fully restored and in perfect working order. A new professionally made vertical drum boiler with all certs. and fittings including an original Klinger water gauge with built-in shut off cocks. A c1890 light-weight horse-drawn two-person carriage/buggy of very similar construction to a real Locomobile steam car with double leaf springs all round. The wheels have been converted to the correct steel wire-spoke type and fitted with Dunlop tyres. £6000ono.
7 Aveling and Porter KND differential spider and bevel gears. Rusty but spider could be restored £150ono.
