Pioneer Engineers Club of Rushville, IN-July 31-August 3, 2014

Some will notice that some of the engines in these photos have appeared before in my pictures of other rallies and from last year. The expense of hauling these engines the long distances of the United States has the adverse effect of keeping that engine within a geographical radius of about 200 miles from home, so you tend to see the same engines from year to year.

The pioneer engineers always host two themes every year, a steam traction engine brand and a brand of tractor. This year they hosted Gaar-Scott traction engines and Massey tractors.




The club reused some hand hewn timbers to make a blacksmith shop, but it's so new they haven't had time to get it dirty yet.
