I looked at one about 20 years ago down at G & M tools, I thought the tailstock was the weak feature,looked like a poorly designed add on which did not look up to the job, though when I dealing with our machining subcontractors Kearns machines were well thought of, though all the ones I saw were larger and had a decent rigid cast tailstock.
