Default Scammell Highwayman ballast tractor

I know i will probably regret doing this but i need the space, haven't got the time etc etc but i need to sell one of my ballast tractors.

It was built in August 1963 for London Brick Co, at Stewartby. They had a unit and a ballast tractor, this is the ballast tractor. It has Leyland 680 power plus engine, Scammell box and axle with toggle brakes. Its a proper ballast tractor with box wings and a 20 ton Scammell winch under the passenger seat. The cab is sound although the new doors need the skins which i have fitted along with loads of other spares to complete the job. It is a restoration project but is far from a complete strip down job. It depends what you want to end up with. Its on 24 inch tyres but i have a load of 22s which look right and will fit.

I have already put a lot of time and money into getting all the parts together and as far as i can tell not much else is required.

These genuine ballast tractors are very sought after and a worthwhile investment. I would like it to go to someone who will do a proper job on it and enjoy it. Its a unique piece as London Brick only ever had one of these.
