Been to the rally today after an absence of a couple of years, and what a surprise firstly there were no programmes available, and there was no coal available so the majority of engines were not in steam.
There were also rumours that this years show may be the last held on the Pickering showground, as the current owners want to build log cabins on the showground and turn it into a holiday village.
