Default Bsa A7

the reason the kick start is slipping is a very easy one to fix,
Remove the kick start peddle and the gear lever, remove the clutch cable.
Place an oil tray under the gearbox and drain out the oil,Should be heavy grade engine oil preferably castrol grade 50.
Undo all the nuts on the gearbox outer casing,Carefull remove the casing, and if possible do not damage the gasket, with the casing of you will see the kick start shaft and on the end is the gear quadrant, either a tooth is missing or the quadrant is badly worn,
New quadrants are available and do not cost a fortune,
look in google for BSA parts.
Put it all back together and there you go.
