Why do you need an Aveling diff ? Surely any traction engine or roller diff would do, or even a direct drive gear. I would suggest that for what you are doing, just fabricate something and adapt it from whatever you can find. Fabrication is fairly easy if you have the correct tools. Castings or buying original parts is a little different and expensive. A chain from the crank to a diff will not work on normal circumstances anyway. Gears don't mix with chains.
