Default Pickerings Patent Hoist
After one of these for pulling up sacks. The name is cast on the hoist. It consists of a wheel about 18" diameter for the hand chain and a smaller wheel on the same spindle about 6" diameter for the lifting chain. You'll know one if you have one!
