The past weekend saw the superb Tanfield Railway have their September 'Legends of Industry' gala. As well as the very fine railway locomotives, there was also General Purpose engine Clayton & Shuttleworth 'Rambler' of 1919 and Roller Aveling & Porter 'Ayesha' of 1924. As always, if anyone wants larger photos then i'm happy to e-mail them over. For most of the time 'Rambler' was down at the engine shed which was more photogenic, but before I left both were having a short run around the site and then parked up at the top field
