My 8yr old son has recently joined the Steam Apprentic Club, being extreemly enthusiastic on anything steam driven. We recently attended the SAC weekend at Old Warden and had a very enjoyable time.
We would love to join up with an engine(s) at Leighton Buzzard for him to help and learn more - he's more than willing to get dirty!!! - any offers???
We are contemplating getting a model engine (2" ish) but not really knowing much about them, anyone attending with one and willing to talk to us we would love to hear from you.
We are staying on site so any 'after hours' meets are OK
