Thanks, I was wondering if they were Amish, or similar, going by the straw hats and beards. Also if any of the engines were theirs, for the reasons you give. I presume they were fired using offcuts.
Could you elaborate on "Some sawmills have a belt tightener" refering to twist in top & bottom run of belt. Does it also help with alignment of the belt?
