Stuart,
I appreciate what you say may be correct for the new ones you sell, but I have
never seen an 'old' Penberthy or Penberthy Copy that has BSP threads on the important connections
The threads on the body are always the same, that is a version of NPT as you mention. This is true of injectors sourced in the UK or from the Americas.
The tails that differ, american sourced injectors have NPT male threaded tails, old britsh sourced ones have BSP male threaded tails.
I have also noticed that the overflow female thread is BSP on 'old' British sourced injectors, NPT on 'Old' American sourced ones
Similarly when I have sourced new Penberthy's via Tyco, you order BSP tails to suit british pipework. And you get a BSP overflow. The tail nuts are always NPT.
This is the best way, it means when you put a new injector on the old pipework they are a simple like for like swap, and the 'new' tails and nuts end up as spares.
