The President returns to Bressingham
Bressingham held a special event over the weekend to celebrate their 50th Anniversary, the star attraction being the return of
Burrell 2789, The President
which was of course owned by the museum for many years before it's sale and overhaul a number of years ago:
The museum had two of their engines in steam, Garrett Tractor 34641, Bunty and Burrell Roller 3993 Buster:
Jonathan Wheeler attended with
Ruston Hornsby 113043, Oliver
which was engaged in running a threshing drum:
Mike Dreelan left around 4.30pm, with a 12 hour return trip to Aberdeen ahead of them(!):
Also, some pictures the engines in the museum which has improved radically since I last went about 20 years ago:
A really good day out.
