We are hoping to locate and repatriate the original brass works number plate for Fowler 9005, Lord Kitchener. I am lead to believe that sometime in the 1960`s the plate was taken off the engine by members of SWAPS (I think they were called). Whilst they were going to restore the roller. As far as I am aware the restoration was never completed by them and the roller was sold on without the plate. If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of the brass number plate I would be grateful. Maybe its sat on someone's mantle piece somewhere. We could get a new one cast, but it would be nice for the original to turn up. If anyone can help please PM me in confidence. Thanks Craig.
