Through work I have found a pressure test pump which would be ideal for hydraulic tests on miniatures, I am dealing direct with the supplier. It is a small nicely made unit with a 5l tank so as you can imagine does not take up much room. It comes with 2m outlet hose with 1/2" BSP fitting so should be able to adapt to connect to your boilers (i got a range of adapters available as well). Got its own gauge of course and will pump up to 290psi so i think would be suitable for most compound miniatures as well.
