Titchfield Carnival

As ever, the carnival was great fun.
2 and 1/4 engines present. Aveling Tractor 'Little Lucy', Fowler 13140 'Volunteer' and Peter Stearne's 3" Fowler A8 'Trixster'. Also in the steam and vintage section was a lovely 1939 Ford Truck Decorated with veg and followed by the Titchfield Land Girls who took first prize in that category.

Everyone had a fantastic time and I wanna say a huge thank you to everyone who crewed Volunteer. 7 people decended on her with rags an brasso in the morning an she looked really beautiful so thanks to everyone who helped out.

Its a really great event, very relaxed an great fun so hopefully next year the steam and vintage section may expand.

Love n Hugs

Well I didn't notice it, but then I do go with either my roller or this year Mr Rackham's Aveling. So I wouldn't notice anyway!! :p

But they did lay coins for me to run over & as 'Little Lucy' has rubber tyres on, there where a bit disappointed!! ;)

But there was a great turn out of public & floats a like, which was great. But no surprise that we should lose to the lovely Ford model A.A of 1932. Very nice machine.

Cheers

Dan
