Traction-Talk - Hollycombe Steam Rally

Called in on my way home from Old Warden. A good event with a number of visiting engines, and the usual bonus of the resident collection in steam and the railway and fairground in action. Visiting new build 'Quarry Hunslet' Jack Green on trains with Jerry M and sounding good. Highlights for me were the two oldest Burrell showmans, Emperor (SCC) and The Masterpiece (DCC) together - probably for the first time ever, and later, being invited by Tim Mayhew to drive his lovely Burrell round the woodland track. Thanks, Tim!
