Old Warden

Just home after today' visit.
WOW. A great show. Well laid out, loads to see, plenty of engine movement & and a very good breakfast for a fiver.
The conversion of the tractor to a rolltrac (half roller, half tractor:D) involving 2 crane engines, 2 lorries, a cast of thousands, and a large sledgehammer, was terrific entertainment as well as being educational. A credit to all involved.
Several people I spoke to expressed the opinion that this show was "better than Dorset". Well done the organisersthumbsupthumbsupthumbsup

Aha 'Tiger Transport' as was. I recall a ride to the works on the back of that.

Is the cab still built to suit a tall American?

Once again, I would like to say Old warden was absolutely fantastic.

It was good to see some "old friends" back on the rally field including Foden D type "Perseverence" and Garrett tractor "Patracia" after its recent boiler troubles.

Well done to all those involved and the "go ahead" beds club for putting on such a great show. It was obvious that a lot of thought had been put into show.

Roll on next year!

Bit of an Experiment but have discovered the Albums and Pictures Feature so Here's Link for Old Warden. personally had a good time and saw nothing but engine movement and parts of engines moving in ways I hadn't seen before!
