We went past Drusillas today and saw 8 engines there, Wallis oilbath roller, Fowler ploughing engine, Fowler crane engine 'Duke ok York', Burrell showmans 'King George VI', Wallis Advance roller, Robey traction engine, Sentinel wagon (mentioned earlier in the thread) and a Fowler roller. On the way back we also saw Colin Knight's Foden wagon on the back of a lowloader on its way.
Last year I counted 15 engines there, 1 miniature and some vinatge lorries Jim http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/DSCF0361.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/DSCF0359.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/DSCF0364.jpg |
I asked this in the 'Anyone driving an engine to Dorset this year' thread, is there a certain time everyone leaves on the Sunday because unfortuantly i cant make it on the Saturday.
