Train??

Hi

Well, I have been off work for a while due to one thing or another and a result of the reason left me with a back back. Just feeling better today, dozing on the sofa, I hear a steam whistle, with being just close to the shrewsbury line, and the train spotters that have been standing in the ditch across the road all day, I thought hey up. I jumped up, just to see an engine, but all my eyes went dizzy so it was all blured. It had a diesel on the back as my eyes recovered by then.

My back is now bad again, from jumping up so quickly, and it is pestering me to as what went past,

Any ideas, Crewe to Shrewsbury line, may have stopped at nantwich, as I heard it chuffing off after it went out of sight a little later. About mid afternoon?

Cheers

Dave

Have a look here a usefull site if ever you hear a whistle; helps you anticipate the arrival and may save future back strain.;)
Hope your back gets better soon and look after it!

That's like jumping up only to see that it's a Burrell when you hear a traction engine whistle. :)
