OLD firebox wanted
 

For demonstration and education purposes

we are looking for an old firebox, can be worn but should be preferably complete.
Make does not matter, really, but of course it would be fantastic if it would be a BURRELL firebox! lol!

We would like to collect it at the GDSF this year.
Who can/ is willing to help us?

Try Howard Bros in Derbyshire, They have just re boxed a couple of engines and I was up there last week. Outside there were old boxes and boilers laid around.

Why not go the whole hog ( translate that - idiomatically ) and look for a wreck of an old portable boiler , then have fun sectioning it ?
