Red lion at goostrey
 

A few hardy steam engine owners and engines are attending the Red Lion at Goostrey, Cheshire on 16th & 17th May for an impronptu Steam Party. Organised by enthusiast Gary Hudson, this welcome return to Goostrey marks a return to a pub last frequented by the cheshire steam fraternity in 1990 when organised by William Dakin who now promises to make a very rare appearance.

Now that brings back some memory's! and one of your sister at No 4 looking for some where to sleep in the middle of the night !!

Yes, that used to be regular venue for enthusiasts from The Potteries. We had some good times there.
