North Norfolk Steam Tour
The East Anglian Traction Engine Society held a roadrun over the three days of the Bank Holiday in aid of the Lymphoma Association. The run started at the Thursford Collection and finished at Strumpshaw Steam Museum. A good time was had by all and a good sum was raised.
Special thanks must go to all those who made it happen, especially the engine owners who took part, and the venues we called at including the North Norfolk and Bure Valley Railways, North Walsham Rugby Club, and of course Thursford and Strumpshaw. We must also thank the well organised team of Marshals, headed by Sue Doncaster and Smudge Smith who put so much effort into ensuring we caused as little trouble for other traffic as possible. It made the local paper! http://www.edp24.co.uk/content/edp24...A44%3A14%3A920 http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005551.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005552.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005553.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005554.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005558.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005555.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005556.jpg http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/ttu/00005557.jpg |
